In all, Lunar: Silver Star Story had the following releases: A few significant differences between SSS and TSS are that the remake makes major storyline changes, is much longer, contains more voice and animated cutscenes, and has an entirely different soundtrack (except for a few seconds in three cutscenes in the US version, none of the tracks in TSS appear in SSS). SSS also has the widest distribution of any of the games in the Lunar series in total, there were 7 different releases on 4 platforms in 3 countries.
